About

About Signs of Solidarity

Signs of Solidarity was created by a high school student motivated by a deep sense of justice, he started the website to help people express their beliefs through bold, visible messages—whether on their front lawns or at community events and protests.

Seeing the ongoing violence in Gaza and the West Bank deeply impacted him. As someone with family roots in Palestine, he felt a responsibility to do more than just watch—he wanted to take action. That’s why a portion of every purchase is donated to organizations like Heal Palestine, which supports victims of the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. "Proceeds from the sale of signs in support of immigrants will be donated to a local nonprofit in Santa Cruz County that provides legal support to mixed-status families.

Through this project, he hopes to raise awareness about the suffering of innocent people in Palestine and also highlight the struggles faced by communities experiencing injustice here at home.

Why Heal Palestine

$5 of each Palestine solidarity sign sold is donated to HEAL Palestine. HEAL Palestine (www.healpalestine.org) is a nonpolitical, nonreligious U.S.-registered nonprofit founded in 2024 to deliver urgent relief and long-term support to Palestinian children and families. Through our four pillars—Health, Education, Aid, and Leadership—they provide critical care and resources while centering grassroots leadership and community-led recovery. Their work is rooted in dignity, resilience, and the belief that every child deserves the chance to heal and thrive.

Local Non-Profit for Immigration Rights

$5 of each sign sold in support of our immigrant community goes to a local Santa Cruz County non-profit organization that provides low-cost and pro bono immigration legal services to individuals and families, with a focus on supporting low-income, immigrant, and mixed-status communities. It offers assistance with visas, citizenship applications, DACA renewals, asylum claims, and deportation defense, while also connecting clients with community resources and advocating for immigrant rights.
